Recovering Our Basic Dignity 1/17/2021
Greetings in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit,
This week we continued in our message series based on the work of Pastor Steven Martyn.
Last week we discovered the importance of Recovering Listening Grace and recovering our ability to listen and receive God's Grace.
Our message today focuses on the perfect and balanced likeness of God in which we were created. We are reminded that The Trinity (God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit) are 3 distinct persons that are all also God. God is The Father. God is The Son. God is The Holy Spirit. Also, these three are distinct from each other. The Father is not The Son. The Son is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not The Father...and vice versa. Their Love joined together to create each of us for a uniquely designed purpose.
This purpose has been corrupted by sin; however our basic dignity remains. We are unique, unrepeatable, graced and able to respond to love. At our core we are is still made in His likeness.
Remember that God wishes to share His Love with you. We must choose daily to receive His Love and share it with others.
