Salvation is a topic that touches every person on some level. Whether a person acknowledges the word itself or simply refers to the idea, every person at some point in time will wonder what happens at the end. For Christians this is answered by Jesus.
Jesus loving acts on the cross changed everything. It is Jesus that dealt with the sin of the world by giving His life to pay the penalty for our sins. It is Jesus who came to earth to turn people away from the world and point people to His Father in Heaven. Repent, and return to God. So how is this done?
The start of this is the prayer of Salvation. It is our acknowledgement of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the glory and honor that they are due. It is a prayer that says, "Jesus come live in me and be Lord of my life." The words themselves are not important, but rather it is the direction of the heart. Make no mistake, salvation is a gift from God. There is nothing we can do on our own that will save us from the penalty of sin. Only God's grace poured out to us through faith in His Son Jesus Christ can save us. This message today is focused on how this prayer can change your life when it comes from the heart that truly believes.
We can begin the process of salvation by crying out to Jesus.
Don't wait! Seek Jesus today, so that you will have eternity tomorrow.
