March 29, 2020 When All Seems Lost...

Welcome, and Thank you for joining us for worship.  Here is a guide to help you in a time of focused worship of our mighty God!  May your time with the Lord be blessed and Spirit filled!

Opening Prayer:
God of grace and glory, we thank you that you judge us not by the perfection of our actions, but by our readiness to live boldly in faith.  Help us, as individuals and as a congregation, to trust you and follow where you lead, that in Christ your name may be glorified in all the earth.  Amen.

Read these Scriptures Lessons:   Psalm 130; Romans 8: 6-11

Intercessory Prayer: Use the following intercessory prayer to help you focus specific concerns.
Show us your mercy, O Lord; And grant us your salvation.
  Give peace, O Lord, in all the world; For only in you can we live in safety.
  Let your way be known upon earth; Your saving health among all nations.
  Create in us clean hearts, O God; And sustain us with your Holy Spirit.

Take some time to pray for yourself and others.  Let the Spirit lead you and guide you as you pray.

Lord’s Prayer:  Conclude this time of prayer with reciting the prayer that Jesus taught us to pray.

Read this Scripture Lesson:  Ezekiel 37: 1-14;

    Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, you have brought us in safety to this new day:  Preserve us with your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
