The Virtue of Diligence - 05/23/2021
Greetings!
I pray your week has been filled with God's blessings. This week we travel further in our path to understanding how virtues of faith can guide us on our path toward spiritual maturity.
This week our message was shared by Pastor John Key. He discusses the virtue of diligence. This virtue is more than just "doing work" it is being careful and persistent in our work. We can be diligent in good and diligent in bad.
What is sown will be reaped. It may be reaped now and/or later and also can and likely will produce a greater harvest than what is sown... We must be diligent in our work to seek in our hearts the True and Perfect Will of God so that we will sow things that will glorify Him.
We were given a bit of homework this week. We were asked to read James 2:14-18 each day this week and be prayerful in the virtue of diligence. I pray that you will be blessed by this practice in connecting closer to God.
