Merry Christmas!
Yes, I know that Christmas Day was on Friday, but our celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is ongoing! Everyday we have reason to be joyous and filled with hope. Advent and Christmas are at the beginning of the church calendar year for a reason. This is the launching point for how we are to live faith throughout the upcoming year!
As you take down the Christmas tree and put away the decorations remember:
Don't put Jesus in the closet!
Jesus came so we can have a personal relationship with God. We can walk with him and talk with him all hours of the day. A relationship with Jesus is what we get the privilege of sharing with others, so they too can personally know God. Keep Christmas, the coming of our Lord and Savior, front and center this year. His light is the only thing that can overcome the darkness.
