Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ! 

Here is this Sunday's message, part 9 of 13 in our reading of the Gospel of John.

   The focus of this message series is to see the truth of who Jesus is.  The evidence is overwhelming that Jesus is the Son of God, and he wants a relationship with you!

   This is great news in a time where so many things in our world and society seem to be falling apart.  It is very easy to fall into the trap of despair, anger, callousness and hopelessness.  We struggle to make sense of the violence, poverty, complacency and lack of fairness that plagues our world.  People scream at government officials to solve the problems.  It all seems so simple.  The solutions are there.  Why doesn't anyone do something about it?

   It is in these very times where attention should turn away from our emotional or intellectual reactions, and instead center on God.  The more that we as humans try to make sense of everything on our own, and fix problems by ourselves, the further away we fall from God.  This world is not how God intended.  It was our sin that corrupted it, and only God can fix it.  It is only in our relationship with Jesus Christ that we can find God's will for our lives.  It is only in His perfect will that we can take the steps forward to bring about true change that can save others.

   Stay connected to the true vine.  That is where life exists!
