Heart of the Matter 10/25/2020
Welcome and blessings to you in the name of Jesus the Christ!
Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for this day. We humbly confess that we have sinned against you and failed to be an obedient church. Come Holy Spirit and transform the condition of our hearts, so that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name, Amen.
Jesus never wasted an opportunity to get to the heart of the matter. Literally. Today's Gospel message and sermon are a call to us to receive, and respond, to God's amazing and powerful love. It is through God's love that we can be transformed from what we are to what only God can make possible.
