Here is this weeks sermon...

The importance of being rooted in prayer
Prayer is our connection to God. Jesus taught us how we are to approach God in our prayers. Matthew 6: 5-13 records the teaching of Jesus on how we are to prayer. The Lord's Prayer, as it has come to be known, is the blue print for our prayers to God. While it is a framework in which our prayers are to flow forth toward God, it also speaks to the attitude in which we come before God.
Prayer can give you the patience to remain humble. Prayer can give you the courage to take a first step. Prayer can bring you peace when the world is spinning out of control. Prayer keeps you anchored when life brings the unexpected. Prayer keeps us connected with God.
Take time today to reach out to God and reconnect. It is always worth it.
